The immigration and internment camp topics is covered by the award-winning documentary entitled "Freedom Had a Price: Canada's First Internment Operations (1914-1920)" which was produced by La Maison de Montage Luhovy Inc. in association with the National Film Board of Canada with the participation of the Ukrainian Canadian Research and Documentation Centre, and the Ukrainian Canadian Foundation of Taras Shevchenko (1994).
